Restore your vision with our integrative therapies at the Eye Health Institute in Westfield, NJ. Two intensive weeks blend acupuncture, laser and electro-therapies for measurable results.
During two focused weeks we assess your vision, deliver twice-daily targeted therapies, teach home care, and set a maintenance plan, blending acupuncture, naturopathy, and modern ophthalmics.
Your intensive begins with a review of your medical history and a series of detailed intake and objective testing to establish your baseline. Depending on your condition, this can include visual acuity, visual field, contrast sensitivity, color vision, tonometry, and imaging (e.g., OCT). These measurements guide your treatment plan and let us quantify progress.
Approximately 90% of patients see measurable improvement within the initial series of treatment. That’s why we test before and after care, not just rely on symptoms.
New patients are typically scheduled for a two-week in-office program so we can observe your response and optimize protocols. You’ll receive two treatments per day with a short break between sessions. This cadence helps stimulate retinal function while giving time for recovery and reassessment across the two weeks.
We track how you respond and adjust modalities and dosing (intensity, frequency, duration) throughout the two weeks, guided by your daily function and objective metrics.
Mid-program, you’ll join a patient education session covering causes of degenerative eye disease, dietary and lifestyle strategies, and how to support your eyes between visits. You’ll leave with a clear action plan.
Your home plan can include ACS-3000 micro-current therapy, targeted supplements, and telehealth check-ins. Many patients continue a hybrid of home care plus periodic in-office “boosters.” For maintenance, we typically recommend returning every 3–6 months in year one, then once or twice annually thereafter.

Diabetic retinopathy develops when high blood sugar damages retinal blood vessels, causing blurry vision, floaters, and potentially permanent vision loss.
Dry eye disease is a common condition where inadequate or poor-quality tears leave the eyes feeling gritty, burning, and watery, potentially blurring vision and harming the cornea.
Eye floaters are tiny drifting shapes caused by age-related changes in the eye’s vitreous gel, and while usually harmless they can sometimes signal retinal danger.
Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases in which elevated eye pressure damages the optic nerve, silently stealing peripheral vision and potentially leading to blindness.
Macular degeneration erodes the macula and central vision, but it’s often a sign of broader circulation, inflammation, and energy imbalances.
NAION is a sudden optic-nerve “eye stroke” that can quickly steal vision; rapid integrative care at the Eye Health Institute may help preserve sight.
Retinal occlusion, also known as an eye stroke, happens when a blocked artery or vein suddenly stops blood flow to the retina, causing rapid vision loss.
Retinitis pigmentosa is an inherited retinal disorder that gradually destroys photoreceptor cells, leading to night blindness and progressive tunnel vision.

"I wish we would have found Dr. Rosenfarb and Acuvision sooner!"
This is what we hear from so many of our patients, like Ray and his wife, Lori. Ray (retinitis pigmentosa) and Lori (central serous retinopathy) drive 8 hours twice-yearly for micro-acupuncture, red-light and hydrogen therapies. Ray’s color and contrast sharpened after his first visit and have stayed stable for 12 years; Lori regained brightness in one week and left pain-free.
These are some of the most common questions we get asked about our 2-week in-office intensive.
